Good Hygiene Habits: Co-sponsored by Aquafresh, Dettol and Scott’s Emulsion, this component aims to help schools highlight the importance of good personal hygiene for healthy living. The spotlight falls on daily grooming routines, hygienic habits between meals and the importance of vitamins.
In the Aquafresh Competition, primary school learners can win a share of R15,000 by coming up with a suitable name for the Aquafresh nurdle character. Learners can also enter the Best all-in-one Mum Competition and stand the chance to win great prizes for their mothers.
Dettol challenges schools to develop portable Dettol Handwashing Stations and communicate to their learners the importance of washing their hands with Dettol soap and running water. There is prize money of R15,000 up for grabs to the schools that best convey this message and create the best Stations.
