Pick n Pay School Club is an innovative programme designed to assist educators to achieve their classroom objectives by providing meaningful educational content! Now in its 15th year, Pick n Pay School Club takes its mission to the next level. So welcome back to all our existing Pick n Pay School Club members, and welcome aboard to our new ones.
Pick n Pay School Club for 2018 focuses on the following main themes:
Simply put, Pick n Pay School Club is all about uplifting our country’s education so that the adults of tomorrow can look forward to a better future. How? By facilitating meaningful relationships between Pick n Pay, the initiative’s co-sponsors, government, schools and their local communities. Pick n Pay School Club is widely acknowledged as one of the country’s most dynamic and successful of its kind.
The integrated result is a platform that provides much-needed educational support in a meaningful and value-adding way. Schools are hungry for new and innovative approaches to deliver the prescribed educational curriculum, and crave financial support from the private sector. We are proud to be able to offer them both.
Pick n Pay School Club is made up of five themes:
This focuses on hygiene and grooming habits and educates on the nutritional value of what we eat.
This equips learners with literacy, numeracy and problem-solving skills.
This educates learners on the importance of looking after our environment for sustainable living.
This inspires out the box thinking in learners. It aims to nurture creative talent at an early age.
Here you can print posters, timetables or year planners to distribute in schools.
In all Pick n Pay School Club competitions, we look for the following criteria when judging: creativity, effort, alignment to the sponsors educational material, detail, originality and accuracy.
