In celebration of Nelson Mandela Day 2021, Pick n Pay School Club purchased 67 copies of children’s storybook, ‘Luna learns about viruses’, by local author, Shareez Bagaria, and donated them to select KZN schools. The book is based on Bagaria’s personal experience explaining the Covid-19 pandemic to her young daughter, Luna. Pick n Pay invited 6 teachers from KZN schools to its Pick n Pay Hyper store in Durban North on Wednesday, 7 July 2021, to meet the author and each receive their own personal signed copy of the book, and an additional 9 books for their schools.
